Household Chores
Max hates when Daddy runs the vacuum. One day I brought it out so he could become friends with it. He was really trying to be like daddy and clean the floors. I could use another helper around the house!

I guess my hopes were short lived. After a couple of minutes he thought the vacuum was a bouncy toy.

Naples trip
We went to Naples a couple of weeks ago to visit some family and to try to get some sun. Max met the ocean for the first time. He loved it at first, but, to mommy and daddy's dismay, he was over it after about an hour. We got some good pics, though. This first picture is us leaving the house for the pool. What a stud in his shades!

This is such a funny picture. Max found a Mr. Potatohead toy and all of the accessories. These are Mr. Potatohead's glasses. Max would put them on and walk around with them like it was no big deal. He actually got mad if we tried to take them off. Too funny!

I just loved this picture of Max and Phil walking to the ocean. It is a little blurry, but just so sweet!

Max looks like he is the only one on the beach. I think he was trying to throw all of the sand into the water. Or, maybe he was trying to see which way the wind was blowing.

Daddy buried Max in the sand, and he thought it was the best thing ever. Look how happy he is to play in the wet sand.

Another obsession with glasses.

Just a sweet picture.

Phil called this the sand chug. It looks like he is pouring it in his mouth, but really he is just pouring it down his chest. I kind of wanted to play "Pour some sugar on me" while he was doing it.

Graduation
Phil graduated from medical school a couple of weekends ago and the ceremony was approximately 2 hours long. That is a long time for a 17 month old to sit still. So, mommy had to get creative to try to keep him happy. He ended up with my sunglasses at one point. I think he thought he was a movie star!
There were 261 names announced at the graduation, and every name had a small crowd cheering for them. Max caught on to this quickly and clapped and yelled for a lot of the names. It was so funny! Here is the picture I got of him doing that.
