Yard work

I was out shopping one day and came home to find both of my boys working hard raking the leaves. Max was so cute and was very curious about what daddy was doing.

Later that day, daddy was putting dirt down so we can try to grow some grass in an area at the back of our house. Max loved playing in the dirt! He is such a boy!

That funny little purse

So, Max found my friend, Jacey's, purse and thought he would be funny and carry it around. He put it on his shoulder and said, "bye bye". Jacey, Shawnda, and I were laughing so hard that he was just encouraged to "perform". (He is his father's child). So, you can just follow the succession of events and see how it all played out. We laughed for a while after it was all said and done.

Fun times with Mommy and Daddy

Sitting on the front porch (one of Max's favorite things to do).

Pumpkin patch fun!

Max loves to lift up his shirt and point to his belly and say, "belly". Just in case we didn't know he had a sweet budda belly.

I love this picture, but he looks so old for a 22 month old baby.

Max likes to beat up on his daddy.

Family times

My sister and her kids came to St. Louis to visit us last weekend. I haven't seen them for over a year, so I was so excited to see them! These are some of the cutest pics from the weekend.

A generational photo...Max, mommy, grandma, and GG.

Another generational photo. GG said she does not claim the unicorns as her great grandkids, though. Just wanted to clarify that!

Evelyn and Max got along so amazingly well! They just loved each other. Every time Evelyn asked Max if she could have a hug, he happily obliged. I love that they get along so well!

My mom got this scooter for Charles. He was very sweet to let Max have a turn, but you can see that he was not very happy about it.

This is probably my favorite picture of all of them.

I just love this picture of Veronica. She is about 3 months older than Max. She is such a free spirit. I love it!

Max and GG just chillin

My friend Shawnda got Max this outfit. How cute!

Pumpkin Patch

Max has been really interested in pumpkins these days, so last Sunday we took him to a pumpkin patch. He was in 7th heaven!

Max thought this was the funniest thing ever invented. I would stick my head through there, and he would literally buckle over with laughter. It was so freaking funny. If I tried to move from behind the scarecrow, he would push me back and say "again?".

Pumpkin city!

This is some sort of tunnel they had laid out for the kids to play in.

This was a tight squeeze for mommy. Anything for my little boy!

Bathroom fun

So Max is trying the potty now. He has yet to have any success, but I'm happy that he enjoys trying. He sits down and then likes to rest his head on my legs. I don't totally get it, but whatever makes him comfortable.

He also loves to play in the sink. Maybe we should just start bathing him in there, since it is becoming a fight to get him in the tub. You can see how much he enjoys it!

Zoo fun

We made another visit to the zoo a couple of weeks ago. I know he looks terrified in this picture, but he was in awe of the "choo choo" that was passing nearby.
